Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains cancellation and refund arrangements for services purchased directly from Tourisme Ploërmel LLC. It applies only to transactions made directly with us.

Access to the editorial content of this website is free of charge, and no payment is required to read guides or to subscribe to the newsletter.

We are not a travel agency and we do not sell flights, accommodation, tours, insurance or event tickets. Where a page links to an airline, operator, platform or ticket seller, any purchase is a contract between you and that provider.

Cancellations, changes and refunds for such purchases are governed exclusively by that provider's terms. We cannot cancel, amend or refund a third-party booking, and we cannot intervene in a dispute with a provider.

If a third-party booking is disrupted, contact the operating provider first, then your payment card issuer or insurer if the provider fails to resolve it.

From time to time we may offer paid services directly, such as content licensing, sponsored editorial placements, partnership campaigns or media services. Those services are governed by this policy together with the written order or agreement covering them.

The order confirmation states the fee, the delivery schedule and any cancellation windows specific to that engagement. Where the order and this policy conflict, the order prevails.

Before work begins: a written cancellation received before production commences is cancelled in full and any advance payment is refunded, less any third-party costs already committed on your behalf.

After work begins: fees for work already performed, and non-recoverable third-party costs, remain payable. Any remaining balance of an advance payment is refunded.

After delivery or publication: placements that have been published, and licences that have been delivered and used, are not refundable, because the service has been performed.

We may cancel an engagement where continuing would breach our editorial standards, applicable law or a third party's rights, or where agreed materials or payment are not provided. In that case we refund amounts paid for services not yet performed.

We acknowledge refund requests within five business days and decide within fifteen business days of receiving the information needed to assess them.

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method and in the original currency. Bank or card processing times, typically five to ten business days, are outside our control. We do not reimburse currency conversion differences or third-party transfer fees.

If you are charged in error, or charged twice for the same service, notify us and we will refund the incorrect amount in full once verified.

Please contact us before initiating a chargeback. A chargeback raised without first contacting us may delay resolution, and we reserve the right to contest chargebacks that do not reflect this policy.

Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence, including any statutory right of withdrawal that may apply to a purchase.

We may update this policy. The version in force at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.
