A Global Guide To Places, Journeys And Experiences

Partners

Working with us, without compromising the guides.

What partnership means here

We are open to working with tourism boards, transport operators, accommodation groups and travel brands on clearly labelled commercial placements, research access and content licensing.

Labelled means labelled at the top of the page, in language a reader understands, before they have invested any time in it.

What it does not mean

Partnership does not buy editorial coverage, ranking or tone. Editors retain final say over every published word.

It also does not buy the removal of something a partner would prefer unpublished. If a city is difficult to reach in winter, or a neighbourhood is the wrong base for a first visit, the guide continues to say so.

How we handle disclosure

Commercial content carries a visible label. Where research access, complimentary travel or hosted stays contribute to a guide, that is disclosed on the article so the reader can weigh it.

Editorial guides and commercial placements are produced by the same standards of accuracy but are never blended into one page.

Suitable collaborations

The arrangements that work best are the ones that improve the information: access to operators and sites, help reaching local specialists, or licensing our practical guides into a partner's own channels.

The ones that do not work are requests for a favourable review, a fixed adjective list, or placement inside an existing editorial ranking.

Who we work with

National and regional tourism boards, rail and ferry operators, airlines, hotel and apartment groups, cultural institutions, festivals and event organisers, and travel service brands such as insurance and connectivity providers.

We also work with public authorities on straightforward information projects, for example explaining an entry requirement or a new rail connection accurately to an international audience.

Practicalities

Scope, fee and schedule are agreed in writing before work starts. Destination work benefits from six to eight weeks of lead time; newsletter placements can move faster.

Partners review commercial content for factual accuracy about their own product. They do not approve editorial guides, headlines or assessments.
