A Global Guide To Places, Journeys And Experiences
Feedback
Corrections, requests and disagreements are all welcome.
Corrections
Include the article title and the specific detail. If you have a primary source, send it, because that speeds everything up: an operator's timetable page, a park authority notice or a dated confirmation is enough.
Corrections that change the substance of a guide are noted on the article. Small fixes, such as a renamed station or a moved entrance, are made quietly and quickly.
Requests
Tell us the destination or question you could not find a straight answer to. Requests shape the commissioning list more than anything else does, and recurring ones move to the top.
The most useful requests are specific: not 'write about Portugal' but 'how do you get from Lisbon to the Algarve without a car in shoulder season'.
Disagreements
If you think a recommendation is wrong, say why. We would rather revise a judgement than defend it, and readers who know a place well often know something an editor cannot check from a timetable.
We do not remove critical assessments because a business dislikes them, but we do correct anything factually inaccurate about that business as a matter of priority.
What we cannot help with
We cannot plan an individual itinerary, price a trip, or intervene in a booking made elsewhere. We do not hold reservations and have no access to any operator's systems.
If you are travelling now and something has gone wrong, the travel support page sets out who actually holds the obligation in each situation.
What happens to your message
Feedback is read by the editorial desk rather than by a support queue. Corrections go to the editor who owns that subject, requests go onto the commissioning list, and structural criticism is discussed before the next redesign.
We do not publish reader messages, use them in marketing, or share the address you write from beyond answering you.
How to reach us
Written correspondence and telephone are both read and answered by the editorial desk. Corrections are the fastest messages to get a reply.
