A Global Guide To Places, Journeys And Experiences

Partnerships

Licensing, campaigns and long-term collaborations.

What we are open to

Commercial partnerships, licensing and research collaborations with tourism boards, transport operators, accommodation groups, cultural institutions and travel brands. Everything commercial is clearly labelled as such.

We do not have a rate card published here, because the useful conversation starts with the audience and the market rather than with a format.

Formats

Sponsored destination series, labelled campaign hubs, newsletter placements and content licensing for partner channels.

Research access is often the most productive arrangement: an operator or board opens up timetables, sites and local contacts, we cover the destination properly, and the resulting guide stays editorially independent.

Editorial boundaries

Labelled commercial content is written to the same accuracy standard as editorial and is never presented as an editorial recommendation. Partners see factual checks before publication, not approval rights over judgement or tone.

We do not sell placement inside editorial guides, do not adjust ranking or coverage in exchange for spend, and do not remove an unfavourable assessment as part of a deal.

Process

Send an outline of the audience, market and timing. We respond with formats that fit, and with the editorial boundaries that apply to each.

From there the sequence is straightforward: scope and fee in writing, a schedule with a review point, then production. Lead times of six to eight weeks suit destination work better than a fortnight.

Licensing our guides

Practical guides travel well into other channels: airline and rail customer publications, hotel groups, membership organisations and destination platforms. Licensing covers agreed titles for an agreed period, with our byline and a link retained.

Translation is possible where the partner supplies a translator and we retain approval over the accuracy of practical detail. Rewriting a guide to soften an assessment is not part of any licence.

What we decline

Requests for guaranteed positive coverage, undisclosed paid placement inside editorial, affiliate arrangements that would shape a recommendation, and anything that would require us to remove an accurate but unflattering detail.

We would rather lose the work than publish something a reader cannot trust, because the reader is the only asset here.

Working together

How partnerships work here

01

Editorial First

Coverage is never sold. Partnerships sit alongside the editorial, never inside it.

02

Disclosure

Any commercial relationship relevant to a guide is disclosed on the page.

03

Fit

We work with organisations whose information helps a traveller plan.

04

Longevity

We prefer sustained collaboration over one-off campaigns.
